08Jan17 – Happy New Year!  We had our first (and maybe last) snow fall on the mountain yesterday.  The contracted snow plow was running late, so far be it that we Crestonites complain…  At 730am out came our sleds and over to Tanager Lane we headed.  Wow!  At 20 degrees that packed snow got icy really quickly and we flew down the side of the mountain in record speed.  A few trips off the path, a couple of face plants, and  l-o-t-s  of trips back up the roadway made for such a fun, child-like time for us all.  Loved being a kid for awhile…..
