05Sep15 – Black Mountain has been known as the “Front Porch of Western North Carolina”, and for good reason. It’s the first town visitors arrive at after climbing I-40 from the east. Black Mountain is the quintessential small town community.
Home to the eclectic and creative, artistic and business-minded alike, Black Mountain has an active cultural calendar, with festivals, music, museums, and art events year-round. Children, young adults, retirees, and everyone in between find this valley to be an enriching, fulfilling place to call home.
